Route 7

The national route 7 between Amsterdam and Utrecht is the best bicycle route we ever tried. Almost no cars, winding water, beautiful houses, small village. We just love every meter of this way.

We really love this signboards and found them almost everywhere. The red signs are local ways – sometimes they also show the distance to the goal.
The green signs is national. Here you see the direction to the national route 7. It is very easy to follow the national routes.
Fish is very popular. We found fish-wagon like this almost every day.
There are serval restaurants along the route 7, some of them situated outside the village. Not every guest are cyclist – even boat-route and walking-trial pass here.
This cow have a fence. Usually canals were enough.
Most of the time the bicycle-route winds close to the water.

We admire all big and beautiful houses.
Later we was told that rich people from Amsterdam build them as summer-house because Amsterdam not was healthy to live in summertime.
